This is our 7th Annual Academic Summer Camp. Summer Camp is a cool mixture of FUN and ACADEMICS. We designed our camp in a way that students learn but have fun while doing it. We are a hands-on Micro School. We teach students strategies that they will be able to use independently in a traditional classroom.
Our mission is to ensure that each student is confidently transitioning to the next grade level. We want to ensure that each student has a fair chance at having a successful school year.

Details
Our Academic S.T.E.A.M Summer Camp is a combination of fun educational review and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math embedded into a hands-on project. Our project-based curriculum encourages collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

- In Center Academic Camp: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

- Academic Camp ONLY: Monday - Thursday
Academic STEAM camp is a combination of academics and STEAM. We will work with students in small groups on subjects such as Reading, Math, & Writing. Our academic portion of the current camp is an overview of their current grade. The goal is to go over major concepts so that students will confidently transition to the next grade level. We will work with students on different strategies, but please note that this is not formal school or private tutoring sessions.

In this 6-week academic camp, learners will explore a well-structured curriculum designed to enhance elementary Math, ELA including: reading, writing, grammar/phonics, and spelling; Science, including hands-on experiments; and Social studies, including civics. Emphasis will be placed on Math, developing reading proficiency, comprehension, expanding vocabulary.
Upon registering, you will receive a detailed list of topics that we will be reviewing at each grade level. You do not have to reside in Georgia to participate.

Taking Academic Camp online? No worries... Learners can interact with the instructor and other learners. Online students will even take part in set activities.

There is a registration fee of either $150.00 or $200.00. This is a one-time registration fee for the Summer 2025

Once you've paid your registration fee, you will receive an email. The email will provide instructions to access the Summer Camp registration forms.
Once registration is completed, your student will be enrolled into Brightwheel for payment instructions.
Step 3

If we go on vacation during the year, will I still pay tuition?
Its best for you to choose the session that works best for you. You will have to pay if we are holding a spot for your student.
What kind of snacks does Time4Homeschool serve?
Time4Homeschool serves well-balanced snacks such as: crackers, cheese, yogurt, fruit, chips, a sandwich, apple sauce, ect. Snacks are paired with water, juice, and/or milk.
Why S.T.E.A.M? What does it do for my child?
We choose STEAM as our curriculum because we know that it caters to ALL learning styles. It promotes critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and creativity. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math is embedded into a project. Students are having fun but learning at the same time.
What are some samples of STEAM Themes?
Futuristic Disney & Fairy Tale Themes
- Everyone's favorite vacation is Disney World. Lots of families have or will be visiting this summer, BUT we will be diving into some super cool facts. We will explore the history of Walt Disney and the main character Mickey Mouse.
- We are going to explore the different theme parks that Disney has to offer. While building the blue print of our own STEAM Park and mascot.
- Students will look into Fairy Tales this week as well. Can you believe that students do not know Fairy Tales? We are even recreating, and reinacting our own fairy tales inspired by the original. Now students don't know that the fairy tale that they choose will actually be centered, our there STEAM Park..... I hope that they are ready!!
- Oh, you know that Tik Tok has taken over... so we have created our Time4Homeschool Tik Tok for the students trailers!!!
Kitchen Chemistry & As Seen on YouTube
- We are continuing this week with our Disney/Fairy Tale theme. Now when you think of Disney, we think of Mickey and the gang, BUT when we get there we also see FOOD!!! There is no Disney Park without food!! So, this week we are in the kitchen!!!
- We are creating our menus, we are budgeting for our restaurant employees, we are creating recipes, and every park MUST have a food that they are known for. We will be creating our meals at the end of the week!
- Of course, we have to document this.... So yes, this will be seen on YouTube. Are you following our channel??
- Now we are not just going to wander on YouTube, we are diving into technology and the history of Youtube. Have you wondered how YoutTube has grown so much over the years!!!
- Students will begin building advertisements and commercials around their STEAM park and Food... on YouTube!!
Construction / STEAM Theme Parks
- This week it is time to see those STEAM Parks come alive. Now I know that everyone has been working hard. BUT we are bringing in a panel of judges to see whose THEME park is the best! Yes, it was a competition.
- Once our panelist deliberate and comes up with a winner, we all must create and participate in that STEAM Park construction. We are actually going to build their theme park. We are going to serve their food, wear their STEAM park colors/characters, and we will be employees at the theme park. Our last day of STEAM Camp will be the day that we can invite others to the opening of our STEAM Park.
- The STEAM Park will consist of fun, obstacles, games, the build-out / vision of the winners' park, and food!!!
Is there a Registration Fee? Why?
Yes, there is a registration fee of $150 for STEAM Summer Camp. Registration fees are non-refundable. Fees go towards STEAM supplies for your students for the projects. This registration fee will only cover the Summer Camp program registration. This fee is not the camp fee.
